Configure JSON-LD schema types to improve your Shopify store’s visibility in search results. This guide covers all available schema types and how to configure them.

Schema Settings Page

Overview

Schema markup (structured data) helps search engines understand your content better, enabling rich results like:

  • Star ratings in search results
  • Product prices and availability
  • FAQ accordions
  • Breadcrumb navigation
  • Business information panels

Accessing Schema Settings

  1. Navigate to Schema Settings from the sidebar
  2. View all available schema types
  3. Enable or disable each type as needed
  4. Configure additional options where available

Schema Types

Home Page Schema

Plan: Free

Adds organization information to your home page, helping Google display your brand in search results.

What it includes:

  • Brand name and logo
  • Description and slogan
  • Founding information
  • Social profile links

Requirements:

To enable:

  1. Click Enable on the Home Page Schema card
  2. Ensure Shop Details and Social Profiles are configured
  3. The schema will appear on your home page

Sitelinks Search Box Schema

Plan: Pro

Adds a search box to your Google search listing, allowing users to search your site directly from search results.

Benefits:

To enable:

  1. Click Enable on the Sitelinks Search Box card
  2. No additional configuration required

Product Page Schema & Breadcrumb

Plan: Pro

Adds rich product information to your product pages, enabling product rich results in Google.

What it includes:

  • Product name and description
  • Price and currency
  • Availability status
  • Brand information
  • Product images
  • Ratings and reviews (if available)
  • Breadcrumb navigation

To configure:

  1. Click Enable on the Product Page Schema card
  2. Click Configure for additional options
  3. Select which product fields to include
  4. Save your configuration

Product Category Breadcrumb

Plan: Free
