What is the AI Ad Diagnostic Tool?

The AI Ad Diagnostic Tool uses artificial intelligence to analyze your Facebook ad campaigns and provide:

  • Performance analysis: Detailed review of campaign metrics
  • Issue identification: Problems that may be hurting performance
  • Actionable recommendations: Specific steps to improve results
  • Performance scoring: Overall campaign health assessment

Prerequisites

Before using the AI Ad Diagnostic Tool:

  1. Subscribe to the Advanced plan
  2. Connect your Facebook account with ads_read permission
  3. Have active Facebook ad campaigns

Accessing the Tool

  1. Open the Pixee app in your Shopify admin
  2. Click on Ad Diagnostic in the sidebar
  3. You will be taken to the AI Ad Diagnostic page

Connecting Your Facebook Account

If you have not connected your Facebook account:

  1. Click Login with Facebook
  2. Grant the required permissions:
    • Read access to your ad accounts
    • Read access to campaign data
  3. Return to the Ad Diagnostic page

Using the AI Diagnostic

Step 1: Select a Campaign

  1. The tool will load your Facebook ad accounts and campaigns
  2. Use the dropdown to select a campaign to analyze
  3. If no campaigns appear, ensure you have active campaigns in Facebook Ads Manager

Step 2: Set the Date Range

  1. Use the date filter (default: Last 30 days)
  2. Select a custom date range if needed
  3. The tool will analyze data from the selected period

Step 3: Review Campaign Metrics

Before running the AI analysis, review the campaign metrics displayed:

The AI provides a score out of 100:

AI Credits

Understanding Credits

  • Each AI analysis uses 1 credit
  • Advanced plan includes 500 credits per month
  • Credits reset on the 1st of each month

Checking Your Credits

Credits are displayed at the top of the Ad Diagnostic page:

  • Remaining credits
  • Total credits available

Buying Additional Credits

If you run out of credits:

  1. Click Buy credits
  2. Select the number of credits to purchase
  3. Complete the purchase
  4. Credits are added immediately

Exporting Reports

After running an analysis:

  1. Click Export Report
  2. A JSON file will download containing:
    • Campaign information
    • All metrics
    • AI analysis results
    • Recommendations

  1. Analyze weekly: Run diagnostics regularly to catch issues early
  2. Check all campaigns: Analyze each active campaign

Troubleshooting

No Campaigns Found

  1. Verify you have active campaigns in Facebook Ads Manager
  2. Check your Facebook account has the correct permissions

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Verify you have available credits
  3. Try selecting a different campaign
  4. Contact support if the issue persists

No Data for Selected Period

  1. Choose a date range when the campaign was active
  2. Ensure the campaign had ad spend during that period
  3. Try a longer date range

Facebook Session Expired

  1. Log out of Facebook in the Settings page
  2. Log back in
  3. Grant all requested permissions
